Your new WordPress website has many powerful page editing features. These can be accessed from the main toolbar when you are in the page/post edit mode. It is best to use these judiciously to compliment your website’s overall design. All of these page and post editing options have been set up on one page below. This is a Blockquote, you can use this style by pressing the quote icon in the visual editor toolbar. Blockquotes are great for highlighting the best parts of your articles, or for singling out quotes.
Below are prebuilt alert message styles. These can be inserted on any page using the alert button in the kitchen sink toolbar.
These are called wells. You have a prebuilt small, medium and large well. Use them to visually set off areas of text. You can even use them inside of other short codes such as columns.
Here you are seeing H3 inside of a large well.
A set of icons are available for use, these are just a few:
Place your photos on a page inline (no alignment applied) and they will be cropped square and stack side by side like these by default. On small screens they will drop one below the other. You must insert them at the size you want, they will not resize. If you insert them at a custom size you can get something like the photo on the bottom. By default images will link to the largest available version of that image (see photo one). Alternatively you can have images linking to any URL you choose (second photo). To turn off the image link, edit the image and set the “link to” field as none (3rd and fourth images).
